Product description- Ophtha Green is specially prepared sterile ophthalmic strip for diagnostic use. Ophtha Green strips are used to diagnose dry eye syndrome. Upon instillation, the dye (Lissamine Green) stains eyes blue and provide immediate indication of any dry eye patches, as well as muco-deficient or damaged corneal epithelial cells. It does not stain healthy, proliferating ocular surface cells and has minimal effect on cell visibility.

As the dye (Rose Bengal) has great affinity for degenerating epithelium. It stains devitalized or degenerated epithelial cells as well as mucous filaments; thereby identify damage to the eye.
